More songs to lament my fate

In the spirit of past posts, here is a slightly altered ditty originally penned by Jimmy Beaumont, a then 17 year old Pittsburgh PA native, which seems to meet the test of songs describing the  non-arrival of my 2012 materials:

I don't have cards, or schemes,

And I don't have elite status and dreams,

I-I-I don't have anything

Since I don't have you.

I don't have fond desires,

And I don't have happy hours,

I-I-I don't have anything

Since I don't have you.

I don't have happiness, and I guess

I never will again.

When you walked out on me,

In walked old misery,

And he's been here since then.
