I am still trying to figure out my Venice stay. I have booked an apartment through booking.com, but I just don't feel happy about it for some reason. Venice is expensive! The Boscolo Venezia would be a splurge for me since they do not book with Marriott points, so it would be about a thousand bucks for three nights (about twice the cost of the apartment). The photos on the hotel webpage are beautiful. What I would like to know from anyone out there who has previously stayed at this hotel, how did you like it, how close was it to the vaporetto stops (how far and how difficult was it to sling your luggage), how far of a walk was it to Piazza San Marco, etc. I can see where it is on a map. It's not in the San Marco Sestiere. I'd really like to get some first hand info from someone who's stayed. Thanks in advance!
