Paris, France late April, early May We want to stay in a hotel that offers an executive lounge, which of the hotels in ParisFrance offers Platinum members a lounge We will be staying early May and any information would be appreciated thank you

I had always stayed at the Rive Gauche and recommended it highly to others until a stay there in July that was so terrible from start to finish that I will never stay there again. Jerry Morgan and others can probably suggest hotels, as they have stayed at ones I haven't.

Most of the lounges are closed on the week-ends. However, I did get coupons for free breakfast. I know that the Marriott CE, Ren. Louve, and Ren. La Defense, either have no CL or are closed on the week-end. If you are going to be in Paris during the week the Ren. La Defense is a great stay, with a nice CL. Good luck!

We will be staying a week taking a cruise over and flying back and want to stay at a hotel that is convenient to sightseeing and has a CD Iknow most of the lounges are closed over the week ends but nice to have them during the week please any suggestions appreciated

I honestly find it hard to recommend the RIve Gauche for anything after the last stay, however much I enjoyed it before. But it does have a Concierge Lounge open most days and nights and while not exactly central, Paris is small and the RG is on metro and RER lines. It would take about 15-20 minutes to walk to Notre Dame. I say so reluctantly because I am torn in terms of giving advice. If there has been a real change in this hotel, then I would not want to turn you toward them. But before my last 'Rewards' experience there I had had nothing but good stays. ProfChiara PS - But listen to Jerry. Although I can give you good hints about things to do in Paris and nearby, he's stayed at more of the hotels.

I would recommend the CE, or the Ren. Vendome(by the Louvre). Neither one of them have a CL, BUT the breakfast at the CE is fantastic, and if this is your first time in Paris, these locations are great! Plus, you will most likely be out and you can pick up delicious sandwiches for lunch on the run at any boulangerie, or a crepe from a stand, and then have a nice dinner. And, remember, you can drink the tap water...don't feel like you have to pay for bottled at restaurants. Save your $ for great wine!!! Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel, and then enjoy the city!!!

Lakeshore is right! I have done these two places and what a great stay. I will report on the Ren. Arch Triomphe in a couple of weeks!

If I only had one night the rest of my life, I would stay at the CE! Likewise, I would walk across the street to the Alsasian Rest. and would then end it with an after dinner drink at Hemingway's at the Ritz. That's the way I would like to go! PS, the night before, I would dine at La Tour Argent, there is no place like that place in the world!
