Had a reservation at a courtyard in denver for 4 nights in september.  Total points for the 4 nights were 110,000.  Just booked the Hyatt Place about 4 blocks from the Courtyard for 32,000 points, transferring only 18000 chase sapphire point over to make the reservation.  Better product, free breakfast and 80K points less??  What is Marriott crazy?  Even as a Lifetime Platinum I can’t justify their exorbitant point structure much longer.  Somebody is not driving this bus, so sad.  Also, Hyatt puts their Covid-19 reservation information right on the main page so you know when you can cancel in the future.  Marriott does not put there info anywhere on the front page, have to search or search your emails.  Just bad business at this point.
