I'm on the way to airport today and load up the marriott app to do online check-in for tonight's hotel. I then notice a booking for tomorrow which I haven't made.
I look closer, there is another email address which I don't recognise. Look further and there is a creditcard which isn't mine. The booking seemed to be made through booking.com as a prepay rate. I don't have a booking.com account. I can't cancel the booking as it's past the cancel by 24hours. The booking was not there, to me, a few days ago.
I've checked my emails and of course I don't have any notification of the booking nor reminder about the upcoming stay.
I've emailed reservation support about this. Maybe it's time to change my account password!
