I have been making reservations on the Marriott website for YEARS using my AAA membership with no issue. However, the past couple of weeks when I enter my AAA membership number, I get an error message that it is not a valid number and to pick another rate. I verified my account number with AAA and they indicated that it is a known issue with Marriott. However, I have contacted Marriott through email, Facebook Messenger, chat and phone and am still being told there is no problem. I have tried multiple browsers, cleared my cookies and also used the mobile app with the same result. Today, I actually tried using my friend's AAA number and her's also got an error. I have tried numerous properties, dates, etc. with the same result. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions? I have been repeatedly told to call the reservation number, but I do most of my reservations on line and prefer it that way. Hoping someone out there can help!
