I booked a 4 night stay at the JW Marriott Resort in Cancun for my daughter and son-in-law. The room was beautiful and they spent the next day at the pool and enjoying food and drinks. The next day, my daughter woke up very sick and could not stop vomiting etc. She ended up collapsing in the bathroom and woke up with a concussion. They shortened their trip and got on a plane the next day to come back home. When the plane landed, they went right to the ER. A CAT Scan verified that she had a concussion as well as testing positive for Ecoli, the Noro Virus and Shigella.
My question is if we can go back to Marriott for refund of the hotel and ask for reimbursement for medical expenses.
