Have had the Premier for a few years.. any disadvantages (any benefits that I would lose) by upgrading to Boundless? I’m currently a Gold... spend ~$20k on this card a year
Only real disadvantage is the additional annual fee. If you can justify the $450, I recommend upgrading.
Is AMEX offering you anything for the upgrade?
The cards poolshark333 is inquiring about are Visas backed by Chase. It doesn't appear as if they're interested in the Brilliant.
Boundless (VISA) has a $95 annual fee
Brilliant (AMEX) has a $450 annual fee
If the card you currently have gives you 1 elite night credit for every $3K in spend, you wouldn’t get that benefit with either of the other cards...
Don't lose your 1 elite night/$3000K of spending. Big regret for me.
I made the same mistake....
Whoa! Didn’t realize I’d lose the 1 elite night/$3k of spending!!
Thanks for the advice, I’ll keep my Premiere
I should've kept mine, although I just upgraded to the Ritz. Free authorized users who also get Priority Pass memberships with unlimited guests.
In my case, I am LTT, so upgrading and losing the 1en/3k do I really care?
If you use those elite nights for choice benefits then you might, otherwise, it's of no use to you.
