Suite Night Awards - How Does Marriott Account for Them?

Question asked by mdtravel on Jan 5, 2020

I don't know how to succinctly ask this, but.

I think I'm missing some SNA's but the website makes it tough for me to figure it out.  I've been top tier for as long as it matters under both the SPG and Marriott programs so I have years worth of getting 10 SNA's.  My belief is that I get them in Year 1 and they expire at the end of Year 2 or something like that.

I am showing that I have five SNA's right now.  I redeemed 2 way back in March before I would have earned any in 2019 so those were from 2018.  I just redeemed four in December and those would have also been from 2018 I think.  So I'm showing 5, which seems to be 5 shy of what I should have.

Am I correct in stating that they are earned in Year 1 and expire at the end of the following calendar year?

Is there some way to piece together what I had at what point and what got used or forfeited?
