if you have a confirmed 5 night suite night - all the hotel don´t give you the room when you check-in, what does it say in the T&C? i cant find it?
Just to be sure.... You received an email confirmation and you saw the suite upgrade on line or on the app? If so, did you show this to the front desk person? And they still refused to check you in to the upgraded room on your reservation?

It happened to me last week at RI Breckenridge, CO. I received an email confirmation but the hotel didn't give me the upgrade. I showed the email but front desk wasn't very willing to help. I then called Marriott and requested to have the SNA credited back. The hotel gave me 10,000 points as "compensation" but I wasn't happy at all! I'm in touch with the hotel manager to get my credits back.
colon001 10K is woefully inadequate for that. IMHO, I would want 10K per night missed if they return the SnAs and 25K per night if not. I would have been on the phone iwth the Ambassador (since I am at that level) or whatever line you can and have them explain to the property how SNAs work.
