I am going to end the year at 45 nights after 6 years of platinum so I'm planning my first 'rewarding event' to keep status and maintain my level for LT platinum. I'm going to block a meeting room at a local Marriott to meet with one of my colleagues for the minimum required time. Based on what I've read, this is the cheapest and easiest way to accrue. Any pitfalls I need to be aware of? I don't want to go to this expense and not get credit due to something I'm not aware of about the program. Thank you in advance!
