Have a situation that I'm hoping you can help with, maybe even get the community managers involved. it has to do with points earned on incidentals at a recent Courtyard Marriott stay.
I understand that in the past you didn't earn on your incidentals at a Courtyard however, with the rollout of the new program, I don't believe it's mentioned anywhere in the new terms and conditions that this is the case.
There were a lot of mess-ups, to put it mildly, with the billing and point awarding on this stay. I've already had to call customer service to get the 2,000 bonus points awarded for the special rate. But I was told directly by the CS agent that you only earn a full-service properties and are not awarded points at restaurants at courtyards. I think that's the past policy not the current, am I correct?
I don't really want to haggle anymore over 650 points but I'm pretty pissed that I have to spend this much time correcting points and billing at this hotel.
