Cancellations / Reservations through the app

When I book or cancel a reservation through the app, I don’t get an email confirmation. In addition, the cancelled reservations (along with their cancellation numbers) disappear right after the reservation was supposed to have taken place from the app. The problem is that if my credit card ends up getting charged, there is no way to prove the reservation was cancelled or look up the cancellation. Is there a way to generate the emails from the app so that they are in the same format as when you book online or in person?
