Hi, I have an online reservation cancelled within 24 hours but still got billed by the hotel. After discussing with the hotel over the issue, they admitted making a mistake and agreed to do a refund. Today, I received my credit card statement and found that there is a loss due to currency fluctuation and international transaction fee collected by visa. Although the loss is not a large sum, I feel frustrated for being responsible for the mistakes made by the hotel. Does any bro have had similar situation before and could u advise me how to make claims for compensation? Any advices will be welcomed! Thx so much!
