No Points or Nights

This is the first time this has happened to me, so I am wondering if the rules have changed.  My company booked me into a Courtyard Marriott and after the stay I found that I was not going to receive any points or nights for my four night stay.  I was told that it was either denied because it was booked by a third party or that it was booked at the company rate.  Is this new?  I have been staying in Marriotts for company business for over 22 years and am a Titanium Elite member.  I have never had this happen.  Now I am not going to be staying at Marriotts for work anymore since I can't earn points.  Has anyone else ran into this issue?
