This kudo is way overdue. I was staying at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa a few months ago. I needed to get to the Airport and was concerned about getting there on time for my flight. I went to the concierge desk to ask if they could arrange for me to take a cab. I was assisted by Shari Sanroman. Not only did she advise me on the best transportation option for my needs, but she also arranged for it all and had a note delivered to my room with the specifics. During our conversation, she talked about her long career with Marriott (very proudly). She had been a manager in Sann Antonio, left to have children, and returned to Marriott when she was ready to reenter the workforce. To me, she exemplifies the Marriott commitment to great customer service!
