How do I get the Rewards Plus status match when the online website doesn't work?

I am unable to complete the sign up for Rewards Plus to receive the United Mileage Plus status match.  I have tried 4 different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on two different computers (Macbook and iPad).  I cleared the web browsing history and cache each time (in two cases it was the first time using the newly downloaded web browsers, so there was no history/cache).  Every time I received the same error message:  "Due to an API issue we were unable to check your MileagePlus status. (Err No: 1925-17)"  I've used the site as well as the site that then lands on the same page as the site.  None of the customer service reps can do anything to help and was told that the case manager escalation process takes 3-5 days before I could expect a call back.  Has anyone else experienced the same problem?  How did you get it resolved?  Thanks.
