When you select the SNA feature on a reservation, it will give you ALL the available upgrades you might be able to received based upon the hotels availability. The more upgrade selections you make, the better the chance of receiving an upgrade. I've chosen the top upgrade each and unchecked the lower upgrade. I received about 80% of my top choices. If you don't see the type of upgrade you want, just hit cancel and your SNAs remain in your account.
Thank you, it has been confirmed my SNA has been awarded for my first leg of my travel, I am delighted to be arriving to the Premier Marina Bay View, Club lounge access, 1 Bedroom Executive Suite, 1 King, Bathrooms: 1.5 at the JW south beach in Singapore and still awaiting my BALI SNA request. fingers crossed hopefully it works out!
There is no difference in paying in cash or points when it comes to using SNA's, theres seems to be a sort of pecking order, with Titanium's with SNA's getting first dips, then Titaniums, the SNA's have a monetary value to the hotel, and you will get an Upgrade if they are available, to what? that is the big question, it should be "best available" but its very easy for a hotel to come up with an excuse why you cant have the presidential suite, Villa;s etc
Sometime I have got very lucky using them... heres hoping in your case
