We’re planning a week in Quebec City in early December. We’re looking forward to exploring the city, enjoying the restaurants and attending the Christmas markets. I’m looking for advice on what to pack. I know it will be cold, but do we need snow boots? Down jackets? The last time we were there it was early Fall and we walked everywhere. Is that feasible in the winter? We are not planning to rent a car so wondering about public transportation . Are taxis readily available? We are staying at the downtown Marriott and found it was a great location on our last visit. Is it a good location for this trip? We are healthy seniors and don’t want to risk a fall, so my last question is whether the sidewalks are kept in good condition for pedestrians? Thank you so much for any help planning this trip.
