I am looking at the Renaissance Aruba. They offer all inclusive through funjet, and Marriott vacations, etc. I want to use points for my stay. Is the property all inclusive by default or is there a add-on for that? If there is an add-on, can that be paid with points?
It appears that Marriott is offering what they are calling an "all inclusive" package at the Renaissance Aruba. This is a special rate package (using code NCL) so this could not be combined with a points stay.
Based on a quick search, the "all inclusive" rate gives you the following (for 2 guests)
All this appears to cost somewhere between $250 and $275 more per day than the same room at a "member rate."
Having stayed here in the past, I can report that the property is not all-inclusive by default. The only way to get this deal(?) would be be to book using the proper promo code. There does not appear to be a way to get the all-inclusive as add-on when booking a room on points. Paying an additional fee or using more points is not an option.
