I’m Ambassador elite member with more than 200 nights Marriott/SPG last year.
This year Marriott Bonvoy rewards me for my loyalty:
1. No special promo for me.
2. No special Ambassador thank you and refund of 60k points after redemption stay. I spent around 400k points this year.
3. After stay at Sheraton Nizniy Novgorod, Russia I reported Marriott Bonvoy about fake (not Sheraton) bedding and ruined sleep because too soft mattress. They threw at me 5k points. For ruined sleep? While good sleep main proposes of hotel.
4. I have escalated case about stay that ended 01 January and still was not communicated by hotel.
Note: article 3 and 4 it only two cases I escalated to Marriott this year.
Now I staying at hotel and 99% happy with my stay, but front desk associates not offered me platinum gift choice (not even mentioned it) during check-in.
Is it fair invoke platinum gift guarantee $100 compensation AGAINST GOOD HOTEL TO COMPENSATE myself BONVOY MISTREATMENT?
