Stayed here the week before Labor Day on a one-night Boston layover, where all of the other local properties were very expensive, and I had a free night certificate on the verge of expiration. Didn't take any photos, not really an issue as my room was a very standard, cookie-cutter Courtyard one.
Called the shuttle from the airport, which arrived promptly, not as long a trip to the property as I expected. As with other reviews online, it is located in an industrial area with not much around. I had done online check in, which prompted the clerk to insist that I use the mobile phone room key option, absolutely no offer to provide a physical key. Confirmed that the mobile check-in would trigger amenity points, no offer of food and beverage credit as an alternative.
I had seen mention that the housekeeping at this property leaves something to be desired. Well, this brings up an interesting point of what to do when you find someone else's output in the toilet bowl? I have heard of this happening before, but a new challenge for me. Thought about it for a few seconds, deciding to flush and move on as the rest of the room seemed clean enough.
Room was reasonably quiet, and dark enough, although I was leery of that as the blinds on one window didn't really fit perfectly. Had dinner at the restaurant, where I should have ordered the flatbread instead of burger and fries. Breakfast buffet was so-so, but adequate. The mobile key stopped working when I returned from dinner. Different clerk offered both a physical key, and to reset the mobile key as well. Confirmed a 2 p.m. checkout at check-in, but that didn't stop housekeeper from knocking on the door shortly after noon "just checking, what time are you leaving?"
Return shuttle to the airport was fine. They provide complimentary morning coffee in the lobby for all guests.
