Hey guys I bought some points 05/15 and its still isn't showing on my account. I see on the points site and email that it should only take 24-48 hours. I am unsure why this is happening.
I'd say something definitely went awry with this and that you should follow up. I bought 1,000 points last year as a test to see if it would help with Lifetime point totals to get to Lifetime Titanium before the window closed and they posted in less than 48 hours.
Give them a call. I did a lot of small increment points purchases (long story) last year and generally got an e mail the following day saying my purchase was successful and points arriving shortly after. However, I would say that out of 29 such purchases 8 or 9 disappeared into the vapour. I saw reversals on credit cards when I did not cancel the purchase and in two cases the points showed up 2 months later. When I called a ticket was raised and a couple of days later the points arrived. In one case on a call the points were given and my card was reversed so I got the points for nothing as a result of the inconvenience of having to call yet again.
Thanks. On the phone with someone now I hope they resolve this soon. I need the points soon, otherwise my reservation (points dependent) will be canceled.
