After the points posted for my recent stay in the Sheraton Skyline in London for the Turn up and tipple, I had 71500 point in my account so I decided to use them. I booked 2 free nights at an old favourite of mine, the Sheraton Tenerife and added 5 paid nights so that the boss and I could go there for my birthday in June. I received the confirmation showing that the 70000 points had been taken out of my account and that I was still the proud owner of 1500 Bonvoys.
Two days ago I went to the Bonvoy web site to print off the confirmation only to find that my account showed a balance of -19500 points. 20000 points had been deducted and my activity page gave me no clue as to why! I telephoned customer service ( yes, they did answer eventually!) And they could give me no answer either. I am now awaiting an answer from elswhere, but nobody could tell me when I am likely to get it!
