has anyone ever come into a similar situation: after making a reservation, the details of the package changed (with less benefits) without notice?
thx for ur valuable sharing!
I've seen certain things disappearing from hotels, most notably the turn-down service (not sure what dollar sign to put on that though).
Once you booked a package, they can't change it arbitrarily; it's a contract. But you'll need some proof to fight it (and then there's the risk that they'll cancel your reservation if you fight it).
Either cancel your reservation and go somewhere else, if you find a better offer. Or fight it once you're there (either with the property, Marriott Customer Service, or your credit card provider), but be prepared to show proof.
