I nominate Kris Hughes who works at the front desk of the Fairfield Inn North in Charlottesville, Virginia for a Marriott Spirit to Serve Award. This is my first visit to this Marriott property but I have stayed in many Marriott properties over the years. Never in all those years have I met such a hard-working, responsive, congenial and enthusiastic employee of Marriott! During our three-day stay, Kris was always at the front desk ready to assist. We had an issue with a room refrigerator (the floor had just been remodeled) and he came up to check it out and made sure it was fixed promptly. He is always busy and takes his job seriously. How Kris performs his job should be the model for every employee but his exemplary attitude, work ethic and care exceeds expectations and he should be recognized! I hope you are aware of the talent that this young man has and provide for advancement opportunities - he more than deserves this recognition.
