Double Take is listed under J's Promotions but when I click on the link provided, this error message appears. Glitch? Interesting, this phone number is different from the one to call listed within the Double Take promotion description. C

Happens to some members every time there is a MegaBonus. I'd say there are two good options. One--wait a day or two and try to register again online. Two--call the customer service line and ask to be registered. Since the promotion doesn't begin until March 19, there is no urgency to register. If you still can't register online sometime next week, call. When things like this happen, calling is the fastest way to resolve the issue.
Just once, I'd love to see a MegaBonus that allows everyone to register without problems. I know, wishful thinking.
But why the need to register at all, folks. Surely it would be easier for global promos to just be applied to all members stays? Why do we need to signup?
I got the same notification, but it also looks like I'm signed up after I refreshed the page. Maybe the notification is popping up because the promo doesn't start until 3/19.
In any event, it's just another example of the beautiful work being performed by Marriott IT. What gives with these folks? I'm no IT guy, but I'm beginning to wonder why Marriott is actually paying these people.

This is a classic case of the error message being an error! Is that like a double negative? Just ignore the message and you will find that you are indeed registered.
I got the error on the desktop and then checked in my app and it says I am registered.
I got this message as well...then called my Ambassador - she confirmed I was registered for it. I think it is just an IT issue, you can also look at your promotions page and there should be a grey bar showing progression - even though it hasnt started.
