Not that a UA Silver is always a good life, nor that Marriott and United will share love for lifetime. But as lifetime **** I think we are silver lined?
Nothing last forever, but for now, yes, those that achieve Titanium status, lifetime or otherwise, are entitled to United Premier Silver for as long as they maintain their Titanium status, or until Marriott and UA terminate their current agreement.
I don’t recall. Do you have to reenroll with RewardsPlus each year, even with the same or higher status?
I tried to check/reenroll through the RewardsPlusMarriott side & the only option was an UAL offer to purchase UA Silver status.
I'm not sure whether you have to re-enroll each year or not. I'm LPPE soon to be LTE and so far I haven't had to. I know in the last couple of days there have been some folks that have lost their UA status, but I believe that was because they lost PPE status with Marriott.
Yes, the lifetime Titanium does have that nice extra. Many have complained that it’s a poor deal but airline status is tough to get and this is full blooded status. I find it most useful for TATL extra legroom which makes economy flying that little more comfortable.
The new UA Silver card expires on 12/29 and has 'Trial status' on it.
