Could someone from the Marriott Corporation please explain why $1 spend at Residence Inn, Towne Place, and Element earns only 5 Marriott points, while the same $1 spend at other Marriott properties earns 10 Marriott points? A dollar is a dollar. What is the rationale for rewarding guests at these 3 brands only half as much as guests of other brands? Please provide a logical and credible answer, and not one replete with corporate speak that doesnt really answer the question. Thank you.
