I have noticed in my last two stays that I have not had the option to check out via the app. Is this anyone else's experience? It's not a big inconvenience, but the first time I had actually left the property and was most of the way home before I realized I hadn't checked out. I just called (it was before check-out time) and took care of it. The second time I went by the desk on the way out.
Just trying to think of why this might be. Of course #1 likelihood is user error; before these stays the app updated (I am on IOS), so it is entirely possible that the option moved and I failed to locate it. But I didn't receive the usual "online checkout is available" notifications.
