I was lucky enough (What?) to hit that $20,000 figure in mid December. My account reflected the Ambassador status as soon as the applicable stay posted. Woohoo!!! Then nothing. I called into customer service to chase points a couple of week ago and asked the agent about how the Ambassador thing works. She was very nice and said I would receive an email from my Ambassador introducing themselves to get the thing started. "Within two weeks", she said.
Well, we're closing in on 30 days and no contact. I'm think that about 8% of the benefit has expired and I still can't use it. Seems a poor way to implement a program that you carrot out there for folks, eh?
Anyone else have a long lag time for Ambassador contact?
