Do I still get my 15 elite night annual credits for using the Marriott premier CC, I usually have my 15 night credits by now, anyone have any answers????
#15 Elite night credits
#Annual 15 Elite night credits
According to what I have read, w the new premiere card the 15 annual elite nights will not be awarded until 2019. Sad part is you don't receive the 1 elite night for every $3K spent on the new card.
You do if you keep the old card.
There is a tradeoff between the two cards. The new card does NOT give you one elite night for every $3K in spending. However, the new card gives you more points (6x points on Marriott spending and 2x points on everything else). Therefore, if you are trying to accumulate nights stick with the old card. If you are trying to maximize points earned go to the new card.
Normally it should be at your annual renew date. Maybe this was cancelled on the old Premier card to force everyone to switch over to the new card?Contact Chase to ask!
2018 they should be credited around your anniversary date I believe.
2019 they will be credited on or before March 1 as long as your card was active as of December 31 of prior year.
As far as I can tell, I just got the 15 nights on the buisness card, had the 15 on the personal card early in the year prior to the merger.
If you did not get them before you changed cards, they took them away. When I complained, they gave me 5000 pts but I almost missed Platinum as a result of the change. You no longer get 1 night for each 3000 spent but you get the 15 nights next year on you anniversary I believe. Very poorly rolled out and the customer service people at Chase were very misleading.
To answer your direct question, the answer is No. You've never technically received 15 elite night credits for "using" the Marriott Rewards Premier card, you received them for being a cardholder in good standing. If you have old Marriott Rewards Premier card and did not upgrade to the Premier Plus card, then you should get 15 elite night credits around your card anniversary date, which I'd assume has just passed. However, if you upgraded to the Premier Plus card, you should receive one set of 15 elite night credits (regardless of how many Marriwood cards you have) by 1 March annually, starting in 2019 - IF your account is in good standing with the paid annual fee.
