Taking my 10 year old son to the Patriots-Steelers game in Pittsburgh in a few weeks, wife and young daughter also going. We are staying two nights at the Renaissance and then driving up to Toronto for a couple of days and staying two nights, driving back down to the states and staying in Buffalo before heading back to Pittsburgh for another day to fly out.
Question is St. Regis or Ritz Carlton? I've waffled back and forth and initially booked the RC because we could get a corner suite for 60k points and $100 cash. St. Regis is 60k for a superior room. The more I've read, the more I see that St. Regis is spectacular and a real wow experience. Travel a lot and my family sacrifices a lot because I do. Like most I stay in middle range Marriott properties for Marriott and really want to treat them with a wow property we'd never pay to stay in.
What property would be recommended by those who have stayed in either or both? Thanks.
