I am quite frustrated and am reaching out to see if anyone else’s has experienced the same issue with their Marriot Rewards account or customer support. So I recently had my account information updated in order to confirm my identity and now am unable to redeem my points for merchandise or other things. The message I receive reads ‘Confirm Identity - Your passcode cannot be sent since you have recently updated your email and phone number associated with this account. Contact Marriot rewards’. I have tried calling and emailing to no resolve. Every support agent keeps attempting to reset my password (used to login) rather than listen when I tell them it’s a passcode issue. The last gentleman I spoke to from customer care told me ‘there is no one that can help you, I apologize for any inconvenience’. How is this even acceptable to tell a customer? Has anyone seen this message and had it successfully resolved? If you’re still reading this far, thanks!
