Does money spent on at Marriott vacation club, or while at a Vacation club property considered "Qualified Spend" toward Platinum Premier Elite with Ambassador Status?
Yes, some (not all) of your spending does count for earning points/miles but you need to check the Vacationsbymarriott website T&Cs for exclusions. For example, Annual Maintenance Fees do not count towards points/miles/spend. It is also unclear how the $ spending counts as the website T&Cs only talk about Points/Miles.

@jvb Just curious, are you a MVC Owner or just a MR member staying at an MVC property? We are not owners but do enjoy booking stays at MVC when they are available.
arizonatag is very knowledgeable about MVC and all the specifics...very complex!! As a casual guest, I find it is pretty much the same rules as staying at other Marriott properties. Besides taxes and fees, I think the only thing we didn't earn points on during our last stay, was the "donation" purchase of the cool waterproof bracelets you use in lieu of your standard card key to access you unit.
To earn extra points we ask to waive housekeepng and earn quite a bit that way. I think you can skip as much as 2 days in a row and have housekeeping on the third day. So if you check in Sunday and check out Saturday and you can skip 3 days @ 500 pts a day and get an extra 1,500 pts.
