Sitting here in Champions, waiting for Hurricane Willa to (hopefully) roll north so we can manage to get a few days of sun at the end of the week. I thought I would take a few minutes and 'live tweet' the process, as it's not as if I have much anything else to be doing. As it stands now, Willa is a Cat 5 storm moving north at 7mph, looking to make landfall sometime tomorrow afternoon. It's been raining off and on, but nothing to write home about. Staff spent the morning packing up cushions and chairs, the lobby bar and ocean-facing restaurants closed at 3pm. A bit of plywood on some of the outward facing glass, but nothing obvious that a storm is coming. There have been two communications provided to guests so far, which I'll post below.
