Fiona and I just had 2 nights at this property -- as part of a vacation trip from Chicago-St Louis-Branson-Memphis-Nashville-Atlanta & then back to the UK. We are LPPE -- so we have completed a few stays with Marriott over the years !
Wanted to post this feedback in the hope that the management of this property read this as positive comment rather than though criticism:
Check In : We had completed check in via the mobile app -- but upon arrival this didn't appear to have been processed -- in fact the desk person didn't seem to know what Mobile Check In & the App even existing. We weren't offered any of the usual Platinum benefits or explained any of the options at the hotel. Didn't mention they had a lounge but we did end up with a room of the Exec floor.
Exec Lounge : this is pretty basic. Simple evening snacks and not alcohol options. OK that is acceptable but perhaps the option to have drinks ordered from the bar would have been a plus.
Room : Servicing. We stayed 2 nights but our room wasn't serviced correctly. The coffee cups etc weren't refreshed, soap or shampoo replaced. Also given this is a full service Marriott brand hotel -- what is with the plastic cups in the room ? what happened to actual glasses etc. This is not a Courtyard or the like. Perhaps the management are on a cost saving drive BUT !!!!
Finally the actual property and rooms are modern, clean and obviously recently been refurbed so from that standpoint everything was good. We have read similar comments on the posted property reviews -- so I hope the management take these on board and sort things out.
