I just noticed the statement below on the status.marriott.com page at 11 am on 9/4/18:
When will my Lifetime status be reflected in my account?
Lifetime status should now be reflected correctly in your account. The only exception is for members who achieve Lifetime status by legacy requirements between August 18 and December 31, 2018. As previously stated, these members will receive notice of their updated Lifetime status in January 2019. For more information on this and other Elite Tiers & Benefits topics, please visit: http://members.marriott.com/faq/
If I read this statement correctly, our accounts showing Lifetime Status should now be correct. Mine is not; please help communitymanagers. On August 17th, I had 757 room nights and 11 years of actual platinum status (no promo's or credit card pushes). Therefore, if the above statement is true I should be Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite now and not the Lifetime Platinum Elite that is actually showing in my account. I had the requirements prior to 8/17/18, I am not achieving it between 8/18/18 and 12/31/18, therefore my account should be correct if this last status statement is true.
