I'm STILL missing all SPG points & nights - so I'm worried about combining accounts. Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone been able to get info out of Customer Service???
Unfortunately, there have been a lot of issues, and probably too many to recap in a single message. If you review some of the feeds on the Home page, you'll hear from many other Insider's sharing their experiences. Things are starting to get sorted out, but we've been told that it probably won't be until Monday when the Glitches are resolved (we hope). With regard to missing SPG points & nights, yes that has been an issue with other Insiders. Hang in there...the light is at the end of the tunnel. Cheers!
Maybe wait until Tuesday? The last rep I talked to told me they were still updating data thrugh the weekend and it should be done by Monday. I noticed my missing SPG stay activity is in my account now after the maintenance last night, but I am still missing nights credit from that stay. If you add up all the stays and credit card nights, the balance shown is too long. Just a simple math problem in my case; all the “evidence” is already there.
Well, I was on the phone yesterday with Customer Service for 1:20...needless to say I was not in the best of moods. They had seen my email plus all the other cases I opened. CS told me because I sent the email that the case was being escalated...whatever that means. I have never gotten any feedback via email. I was basically told - 'Don't Combine accounts, we are working on it.' I might have gotten the same Monday 8/28 date but I actually don't remember. I figure I'll just check back. The only plus was that the customer service agent must have taken pity on me and added 20,000 MR points to my primary Marriott account...and it actually showed up. So now I'm in a wait and see. Tonight is my first stay since the merger...so it will interesting to see what posts and when.
