When Will My Elite Status Be Corrected?

I just combined my Marriott and SPG accounts. According to the Marriott Loyalty program integration email, my staus should have been updated to reflect that I am a Platinum member however when I log-in the status I see on my profile is Gold Elite, when can I expect to see the correct status on my profile and, how do I ensure I get my Elite benefits for my upcoming trips?
