What a time to be in Paris!
Great food, all of the sights, and lifetime memories.
Try it, you will enjoy!
Great photos, Jerry! Thanks!
I realized later tonight that today was Bastille Day and missed all the festivities here in New York City! Bummer!
Enjoy the "Big Apple"!
If you get to the River Cafe, enjoy a nice meal. That is one of my favorites in NYC.
Keep your travel experiences coming!
I have to say i like the Champs area, but as someone who travels to Paris on business 8 times a year (35+ Marroitt stays per year) it's not my favorite area and i had my worst Marriott experience there (let me just say the guarantee Marriott promises on your reservation does not apply if someone else is willing to pay up to extend a night or pay for late check-out). You can't get a French experience staying at the Champs - it just tries too hard to be identical to all the other Marriotts around the globe.
Thanks for sharing this.
Maybe I am just lucky but I really have enjoyed my experiences each trip.
Yes, It may be a bit touristy on the CE, but for many the location is just so special.

If only they can get all of those ugly cars off the streets.
Yes, you have that right!
Yes, it is a special place!
Sounds like Klaus has it made.
If you like steak at a reasonable price and of high quality, try Relias du Venice. It is located across from the RER station at Port Malliott.
Just get there before they open, before the lines get long!
A good salad, and the only thing on the menu is steak, with Pomme Frites, great time!
