What a joke. my confirmed reservation was cancelled by the hotel to accommodate their preferred guests. Here is the complete story. I went to Marriott.com and made a reservation for the hotel "Fairfield Inn & Suites Plymouth" and shortly after I received an email with the confirmation number and message as

I was on way to the hotel and received a call from the hotel "do not just show up here, we do not have a room for you". i was shocked ..was this a joke. Why my reservation was cancelled by the hotel? I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone with Marriott customer service to get my reward points back. Some of friends had the same experience at this hotel. they were kicked out in the middle of the night to accommodate some one else.
