I received several e-mail from Marriott over the last month saying that my points were going to expire on August 19, 2018, unless I did something to ensure their survival. I had already made reservations at a Marriott hotel in Portland, OR, before receiving their threatening e-mails for stay beginning August 16, 2018. I have sent various Marriott sites more than 6 e-mails asking about the survival of my points. None of the several Marriott sites have ever paid me the courtesy of replying to any of my e-mails. And they like to advertise their great customer service.
