Let's keep this going a little longer.
Here's another room photo.
Can you name the brand?
Reminds me of a Renaissance. Different bedding and carpet though.
Last week was Renaissance so I would doubt he would repeat it.Kind a looks like Edition NYC.
True ks83 but I didn't see that until after I posted. Guess I'll say JW then.
I’ve stayed in a room with this carpet and decor before, but it wasn’t the Edition, as I’ve not yet had the pleasure. Hmmmm.... me thinks bejacob may be playing a bit of a game with us. No rules against a repeat, right? This does have a real Ren feel to it...
You are correct that there are no rules against repeating brands. As brightlybob noted in week 12, there had been no repeats at that time. The question you'll have to decide this week is this: "is that still true?"
I ain't sayin' until Friday.
nationwide, have you settled on a brand yet? I see you were leaning toward Renaissance, but I wasn't sure if that was your "final answer." Not that it matters, except for bragging rights, as there's no score and as brightlybob says, no bonus points either.
The answer comes out tomorrow (Friday) afternoon.
I am leaning Delta on this one.
Looks pretty nice JW
Motel 6 Presidential Suite?
Well it’s looks somewhat like a Westin, but I know bejacob hasn’t publicly ventured to the dark side yet!
I’ll go with Pey & say DELTA!
I'm going with JW. For bonus points, the JW Marriott Essex House New York.
It’s between Delta and JW for me and as shamelessly copying Johnboys homework a couple of weeks ago did me so well, I’m copying again. So, early call for me, but I’m saying the brand is JW Marriott and as I recall you recently visited NYC, I’m going with Essex House for the (non existent) bonus points!
I'm liking the answers so far this week, though there have been fewer "detectives" sifting through the clues. Surprised no one mentioned the chocolates on the pillow. Maybe it was too hard to see them.
Regardless, there's still time to get those guesses in before Friday afternoon.
And the chocolates on the pillow definitely puts it at the Motel 6 Presidential Suite.
Having stayed in a Delta last night, I am going to change to a JW because the colours are all wrong for a Delta. So JW final answer.
My answer was tied to pey, so if he changed to JW, I change to JW.
verysuiteboy this week I am afraid it is the blind following the blind. I only changed because the Deltas seem to cookie cutter with the washroom going down the hall to the exit door. But BEJ has been tricky these last few weeks since BBob lofted us a marshmallow.
pey - Lofted you a marshmallow? Lofted you a marshmallow!
Right, no more “marshmallows” from me pey - you’ve been warned!
lol brightlybob wasn't it a loft?
Aloft. Moxy. About the same, right?
JW. I think I saw this or a very similar room at the JW Mall of America in Minneapolis.
I’ll jump on the bandwagon to JW with my friends here
JW. I agree with the Mall of America suggestion. I stayed there once and it looks similar, but it has been awhile.
I stayed in a suite at the JW Mall Of America, and to get to the bathroom required you to go into a separate hallway. It may be a different JW.
Mall of America Bedrooms look like this:
Good job everyone. After a few false starts, I think most of you were able to identify this brand as JW Marriott.
Bonus points (no not really) for those who guessed JW Marriott Essex House New York
With a couple more weeks left until the August 18 start date of the new combined loyalty program, why don't we keep this going at least until then. That means there will be a new picture on Monday. Oh, and as nationwide noted early this week, there's nothing to say I can't repeat a brand.
Have a great weekend everyone.
