If you made any reservations at Marriott.com in the last 24 hours pay close attention to your upcoming reservations!!!
We had been looking to book a trip early next year to Aruba, but couldn't make the flight schedules/fares work so we opted for the less than two hour flight to Cancun and booked the Cancun Marriott Resort on points. After making the reservation my point total seemed quite low after taking out the 160,000 for the five night stay. Well holy MARRIOTT, I got double booked.
Yes sports fan, a complete set of two separate reservations for the exact same room, same dates and same time email sent confirming the reservations. WOW, has Marriott really found a creative way to help us rid ourselves of our points or is it just another in the LONG and disappointing IT issues we experience????
Either way, check out your room types, dates and reservations in general before you end up not being able to fix the issue yourself.
