Note: extensive review with photos at Flyertalk, summarizing here for what to expect.

Downtown Bellevue a block away from Westin for those interested in hopping. Check in on second floor of an indoor mall space.

Greeted as elite, upgraded to one of their notorious higher level rooms, though not a suite. Told there was no specific breakfast benefit ceiling, which turned out not quite so.

Had a drink at their bar, more of a "hip" vibe than the one at the W in Seattle. Dinner at their restaurant a bit pricey, but high quality eats! Classy a la carte breakfast worked well (benefit covers room service as well).

After the stay posted, turned out the bar charge went through, but had to supply the folio to get points for dinner at the restaurant. Another Flyertalker only received partial coverage of a room service breakfast, expected to pay the rest.

Speaking of vibes, my room had one reminiscent of Pee Wee's Playhouse. In-room shower with three sides NON-opaque glass not to be missed - compared with a defendant booth at a war crimes trial!
