I transferred 240,000 points from Marriott to SPG for a trip to short last minute trip to Iceland for my birthday. I accidentally booked a pre-paid hotel reservation on my phone for an SPG design hotel in Iceland  (who knew there was such a thing at SPG?!) and lost out on my 240,000 points and 1500 bucks. How can I get charged twice for the same stay? Neither the Marriott nor SPG team were willing to help me. I am ok with either losing out on the money or the points, but not both. I've been a Platinum Elite member for 4 years now and have never once had an issue. I literally can't believe this is happening to me. betrayed
