I always like saving hotels on the Dream Tracker, but since the beginning of the year the site says a new edition of DreamTracker is coming. Anyone know when to expect this and what the delay is?
If it comes back in whatever form, I wouldn't expect it until after 1 August once the new program is rolled out.
That tool is super basic but I can understand how some people like to have this feature linked to their account.
A much better Dreamtracker is your own tool. I have experimented with several tools to accomplish this simple task.
1. Google Trips
Although I really like google trips, it limits me to the things it can provision such as location, activities, food/beverage, etc.
I have settled on Evernote since I can tag this to my vacation planning activities and add some much more content including links, reviews, activities, costs, maps, etc. All from a single record.
Update: Kayak's new group planning tool "Trip Huddle" is worth a look. https://www.kayak.com/mvp
So for me, the Marriott Dreamtracker provides nothing more than a list of hotels with a reservation link. Very basic.
Electronic notetaking apps on my mobile provides so much better experience.
