Hello, I had over 150,000 rewards points that have all disappeared. I used Marriott and Starwood exclusively for 10 years of business travel and banked a large amount of points between the two companies (that I see are now affiliated). Prior to relocating overseas for the past three years, I contacted Marriott to ensure my points did not expire and they assured me they did not. I used these hotels in part due to the excellent customer service but this is not in line with that service. Additionally, I sent emails to the customer service dept. and never received a response, past the automated response saying you received my email.
How can these points get reinstated? I did not receive notification as to the change and did all I could to keep my account current within the info I was told.
