Has anyone actually tried to call Marriott Support lately?

I have tried several times over the past week and each time held more than 30 minutes with no answer.  It doesn't tell you how long the expected wait time is, what place you are in the queue, that call volume is "higher than normal", etc.  It's like they don't care.  Does anyone have a tip or trick on how to actually reach a person?
